OUT TODAY: Escape from the Syndicate

My new interactive novel, Escape from the Syndicate, is out today in e-book and paperback!

Here’s the cover:

In case you can’t read the back cover:

ONE STOLEN SHIP. A GALAXY OF CHOICES.

For years, you were the perfect soldier for the Page crime family. As the right hand to the deadly Montius Page, you saw the reality of their power firsthand. But after witnessing one murder too many, you did the unthinkable: you stole the boss’s private starship and ran.

But once you make it to the edge of the galaxy, you come to terms with the grim truth: escaping a syndicate that spans multiple systems isn’t as simple as a jump to hyperspace. With a price on your head and the Pages’ reach extending from Morningside Station to the furthest reaches of interstellar space, every choice you make could be your last.

Will you lay low? Try to find work as a cargo handler or a bartender on Morningside Station—but watch your back, because the Page operatives are everywhere.

Will you fight? Team up with a street-tough mercenary or join the Earth Navy to learn the skills you need to strike back.

Will you find a new home? Negotiate with three-eyed Elyss, navigate the humid farms of Ktur, or risk it all for a romance that could transcend species.

With dozens of endings ranging from a peaceful life in hiding to a brutal execution at the hands of the boss, the journey is yours to create.

It’s time to make your escape. Good luck — you’re going to need it.

This is the first interactive novel I’ve published under the name Josh Roseman, and it’s a chonky boi — the print version is over 320 pages long!

If you read the book, it would be great for you to review it on Amazon or Goodreads; reviews help surface the book in various algorithms. Or you could just message me and tell me what you thought; that works too.

My next project is a space opera. I hope to have it written by the end of Q1 and ready to publish early next year. Maybe sooner. Who knows?
